Cookies
Upsticks sets no cookies. None at all.
Analytics
We don't use Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, or any other service that identifies individual visitors. There are no tracking pixels, session IDs, or fingerprinting scripts on this site.
Local storage and session storage
By default, Upsticks stores nothing in your browser. If an individual tool saves anything locally — for example, a recently entered postcode to save you re-typing it — the tool page will say so clearly. That data never leaves your device.
Times Tables Trainer
The Times Tables Trainer can save results on your
device, but only if you tick “Save my results on this device”. It is off by default.
When ticked, it keeps the last 10 attempts for each table in your browser’s local storage
under the name upsticks-tt: the date, the score, the total time, and for each fact
how many were right, how many were asked and the average time. It is never sent to us.
“Clear saved results” on that page deletes it, as does clearing your browser’s site data.
The optional “Read it to me” button uses your browser’s built-in speech, and only voices that your device says run locally, so the text isn’t sent online for reading. It stays off until you press it, and the button is hidden if no local voice is available.
Third-party APIs called directly from your browser
Some tools work by sending a request directly from your browser to a public API operated by a third party. The request typically contains a UK postcode or a pair of coordinates. No personally identifying information beyond this is sent, and no cross-site tracking occurs.

This table is updated whenever a new tool is built. If you notice a discrepancy, please open an issue.
Hosting
Pages are served as static files. The hosting provider may log standard server access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp). These logs are not used for profiling and are not shared with third parties.
